Coffee House Outreach

The 4 days I spent in Paris to explore the possibility of starting an outreach was very productive. I met with numerous ministries working within Paris and was encouraged by their success as well as their enthusiasm for my vision. However, the challenging side of things is that I was overwhelmed with the cost. I knew Paris would be expensive ? but it is astronomical. Granted all things are possible with God and if He wants me there, He will provide the means to be there. I wasn?t discouraged but rather motivated to consider other options. Just to give you an idea, in the outer ring of Paris (less expensive further away from the Seine and Notre Dame) the cost for 20 meters runs approximately ? 650. The equivalent is about 250 sqft for $850!

I have hoped to start a coffee house outreach for a long time. Many of you will remember the ?Camden Avenue Coffee House? launched in my backyard with musicians such as Robert Gotcher, Leslie Williams Blum and Carlyle McCullough. But the vision I have for France is on a much larger scale.

See section ?The Milk & Sugar? for details.

Please pray that God will grant me discernment in this area. Also (and now I?m being blunt) I can?t do this alone. My hope is that God will either bring me a husband with whom I can partner or bring along a married couple with a similar vision. If this is ever going to become a reality, I need to work with a team. Additionally, I will be dependent on God to motivate potential financial partners.
