How Do I Spend My Days

Weekly Average Time Allocation

Language Studies              20-25 hours

Outreach/Ministry               12-15 hours

Field Accounting                  10-12 hours

Donor Relations                  10-12 hours

Language Studies: Currently, I meet with a professor of French language 4 hours a week with an additional 10-12 hours of independent study.  Starting the end of Sept. I will attend classes for the completion of studies at a secular language school in Chambery.  Additionally, I meet weekly with 2 language partners who are not Christian.  This accomplishes both language acquisition and evangelism outreach.  This will continue to be replaced by more and more ministry as my language improves.

Field Accounting:  The time invested for the field accounting varies week-to-week but on average takes approximately 10-12 hours a week.  I have been able to streamline the process significantly since arriving the field.

Donor Relations: Time is necessary to update the website, reply to emails, communicate through updates, generate additional material to communicate the ministry needs, and efforts to discover ministry partners.  On average this takes 10 hours a week.

Outreach/Ministry: Until I complete language studies, this is the part that is limited because of the language barrier.  But fortunately, God has brought many non-Christians into my path that speak marginal English so that between what French I have acquired, I am able to share the gospel, hold outreach events, and minister to my neighbors.  On average 15 hours a week.
