Christ-Care Singers In France!

Several years ago, I launched a small community group through Fellowship Bible Church called ?Christ-Care Singers.?  Our group sang all year, but mostly Christmas for nursing homes, hospitals, vets, etc. 

So why not France?!  Several classmates are joining me to rehearse each week learning Christmas carols in French.  We are in the process of making appointments to sing at the local hospital and homes after our Thanksgiving (not celebrated in France, obviously). 

It breaks my heart to learn that Christmas is little more than a commercialized notion in France and rarely is it tied to Christ (much like what some in the U.S. are trying to accomplish).  It is simply called ?Noel.?  In fact, it took me several days to find any French carols recorded that I could buy or download. 

Please pray that we will be welcomed so that we can share Christ with those hurting and lonely.
